Without a doubt, this slows the spread of infection.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isolation tips<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to follow while you m<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anage Omicron at home<\/span><\/h2><ol><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Call Healthline on 0800 3585453 or <a href=\"https:\/\/info.health.nz\/services-support\/health-and-disability-providers\/healthline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">record your visit online<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stay at home, do not go to work or school and do not have visitors to your home.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Tell your employer or school that you are isolating. They need to know to keep others who may be close contacts safe and will be grateful for the information to help them plan.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If possible try to isolate away from other family members.\u00a0 This means it&#8217;s best to eat and sleep alone and wear a mask when close to other family members. Try not to share dishes, towels etc.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Opening windows is a good way to get fresh air. This helps to limit the spread of the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Omicron variant<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
